Well as suspected the king bite in the Columbia gorge went crazy this weekend with the numbers climbing over Bonneville dam. We fished through the weekend with lots of hookups and quick morning limits each day and even found our 1st coho of the year. The best gear was protroll flashers in both chrome and green. Behind them we put 3.5 spinners and mini cutplug superbaits. Our best spinner was a chartreuse green dot spinner and our best superbait was the solid pink. We ran 36 inch leaders and hugged the bottom with our gear trolling at 1.8 mph. For our scent the graybills sandshrimp scent mixed in with a little tuna oil was the ticket!
We have just a few seats still available the next couple weeks on both boats this is the time to get out there a tag some fish!
