I decided to not fight the large crowds on the local rivers (Pink Salmon fishing) and try one of the local lakes for rainbow trout. I wasn't sure that there would be any trout left since the lakes were stocked in the spring. But to my surprise Lake Spencer still has a lot of Rainbows available. I trolled most of the morning (from 7:00 till noon). I used a 4" dodger and either a Pink Smile Blade or Red/Orange wedding ring. Tipped with a piece of night crawler. Speed trolling was at 1.1 to 1.4 mph. I consistently caught fish except when I switched over to a green wedding ring, this lure never got a hit.
