Set out from shilshole solo around 6:20am, lots of boats out already for the Everett derby. Picked up my first fish around 8am just south of Boeing creek in about 100 FOW, 75 feet on the wire using a green and silver Gold Star spoon behind a gibbs no bananas flasher. 22 inches and around 4lb
Picked up wife and kid and soon had three rods in the water, picked up number 2 around 1pm just south of the oil docks in about 300 FOW. 90 feet on the wire, with a whole red label herring in a helmet. 25 inches and around 5.5lb
In between picked up probably a dozen shakers, and one nice hatchery chinook just off the oil docks. Marked tons of fish between Boeing creek and Richmond beach but few takers. Somewhat slow day but still had fun.
