Another slow day on the Middle Green. Only had a couple hits on eggs in about 3 hours of fishing. Cold clear days like this I think it's more important to be on the water at/or before first light.

Today, I didn't leave the house until daylight and spent the first hour and a half - 2 hours scouting out some new holes. Night before I did a little satellite recon and so today I wanted to check out sections I have fished before.

I did have a good time checking out some new water. Found some great holes, some with a little hike to get to them. Just getting out there is fun. Hardly saw any fish jumping, rolling or anything...A lot slower than last week.

Tried spinners, twitchin' jigs..Even plugs...Couldn't even piss them off enough to strike :)
