After a a day of despair at Rufus, we decided to try Banks on the way home for walleye. I guess the jinx followed us there. One small perch & that was it. We talked to one other boat & they said the same thing. However, the day before they knocked them dead on nice trout. So, we switched over to no avail! I guess some trips you knock them dead & others you can forget. We seemed to mark a lot of fish but I guess they had lockjaw.
A word of advice: the state has pulled the docks out of Northrup Point & locked the restroom. Of course, they still want $7 to launch. Head to Osborne Bay. The dock was still in place when we went there.
