Great fishing two days in a row. Went two for two for steelhead. First one 35 inches (75lbs) second one 26 inches(4.8pbs), the old Man caught out too! He’s a year out of a quadruple bypass and we finally had tome to get out on the river together, made me realize how much I missed fishing with the old man.

Jigs w/ cured shrimp worked best. Although had few bobber downs on soft bead too!

Not giving out location, it’s secret spot so sorry y’all. It’s been just over a year of the pursuit of steelhead for me, and man what an adventure.
Going from not knowing anything, to hiking dozens and dozens of miles looking for my honey hole, Getting skunked 90% of the time, to learning new techniques (bobber/spinner), to finally having confidence in my gear/my spots/myself on the river. It takes time, no shortcuts. Everything you need to learn about techniques is on YouTube, do your due dilligence and you’ll be rewarded boys!

There’s no short cuts in steelhead fishing, they are earned. If you wanna know where to catch them, then put some miles on that odometer and those legs :)
