Another great day of Walleye fishing on the main part of Lake Roosevelt. Our group did outstanding for their first time Walleye fishing on Lake Roosevelt. We fished North of Hunters in the morning with great results, catching most of our fish in the afternoon. During the morning bite, we caught the majority of our fish jigging shallow. At 12:00 pm, we took a break and headed South. We started out just jigging shallow at first with very few fish. So I decided to head out to deeper waters and we caught fish. In the afternoon, the bite was nothing compared to the morning hours. I was glad to see some Burbot being caught this afternoon! The Burbot fishing should start picking up in our area as predicted. We have been doing really well Walleye fishing every time we have been out fishing lately. Once again, we have been finding our walleye right off of the sandbars on the inside bend of the channel. Shallow in the morning and deep in the afternoon. Good Luck & Good Fishing Everyone!!!
