What an outstanding day on the main part of Lake Roosevelt! This fun group did an outstanding job jigging Walleye for their very first time on Roosevelt. We launched out of Hunters this morning, headed North, all the while battling the wind. I took us to Gifford right away in the morning and we did fairly well. Once the wind calmed down a bit, we motored down a little North of Hunters. As soon as we put our lines in the water, we caught fish right away. The crew I had on the boat today caught Walleye consistently for the rest of the afternoon. All of the fish caught today were at deeper depths on green jigs with plastics and a chunk of worm. Good Luck and Good Fishing Everyone!!!
