We had an awesome fishing trip today! Launched out of Hunters and went north with slow results, with just a few fish in the boat. We found the fish a little closer to the surface on Planer boards pulling bucktail flies. We also had a couple flat lines out that also did really well for the fishing. For whatever reason, the fish would not respond to the rods with flashers on them. By the end of the trip today, I only had one pole with a dodger and all the rest had flies and wedding rings baited with corn and large nightcrawlers. Around 11:00 am, I ran the boat back south and we started catching right away. By 3:00 pm, we had some real nice large Kokanee & Trout. Too a great surprise, it was nice to see the Kokanee showing up again on Roosevelt already! Going to be a interesting Winter chasing Silvers. Good Luck & Good Fishing Everyone!!!
