Day started off well with a couple hits and one fish in the kayak on a blade bait in the first half hour but then slowed considerably over the next few hours. I scratched out a couple fish primarily on jigs mid-day but by early afternoon the bite kicked back on and I was getting hits consistently landing 8 in just 1.5 hours. I released several fish over 20", keeping a handful of smaller fish to eat. Chartreuse blade bait was the best producer followed by a white/blue bait.Fish were in 30-40' of water.
