Finally managed to get to the water, and it was a great day to do so. Launched at Keller but couldn't buy a bite down there so we ran up to the Sterling area. It was still pretty slow up there but we did manage a few nice RB and one 18" Koke, what a pretty fish. The best depth for the downriggers seemed to be around 20 feet but I caught one RB on leaded line out 3 colors. Seemed like 2.8 to 3.0 was maybe the best speed but the hits were so sporadic that I'm not really sure. None of us had been out for way too long and it was just great to be there. It seemed like a day that no matter what you put out it was only good for one fish. The Kokanee went for an orange Rapala, go figure. Need to work on getting the camera out. The catching may have only been a 3 but it was a great day.
