ITS HERE! BACK AGAIN TIME TO GET AFTER SOME GORGEOUS WINTER CUTTHROAT TROUT ON LAKE SAMMAMISH!

folks, it was another amazing day out on the lake. it had been a short while since being out there, as salmon have been the bulk of our fishing. however, with the sound being closed for such a while longer, there is no better place close to Seattle to get into some quality fishing.

this day we found consistent action in pockets, but took a while to find the fish. Rmrauscher noticed that the fish are in rather large schools, and it is crucial to stay on them. if you do, bites come in hand over fist. after the fish were found, we nailed the fish for a long while.

spots out here are going fast and I would love to get you out on the water this December and January! time to get your favorite spot to learn this fishery. remember, trips are PRIVATE, so it is up to you on the size of your party. as cooler months draw on fishing will only continue to get better!

BOOK NOW to get your preferred date out on the lake. whether you want a new fishery or are looking to get out on a boat and wait for blackmouth season, this is the trip for you.

I was out last Friday with a bud and it was chilly for sure. Took a while to find fish (about 2 hours) but when we did it was limits to the net in about an hour or so (c&r all). 100 feet back and 20-25 down on the riggers, wedding ring type spinners any color with worm chunk, assassins, green hoochies, small pink Old Goats and small FlashyFish spoons got it done for us. 14-15 inch leaders behind a flasher or dodger, 1.75-2 mph appx. That was last Friday, today or tomorrow who knows. Curiously enough the weather buoy area which is a consistent hot spot has not been too productive lately for us.
