Making up for some lost fishing time i have been getting out almost every morning before work for a couple hours and have been doing great. I have mainly been fishing up high but have been pleased with some of the brighter fish i have encountered. Action has been consistent with some slow periods otherwise no complaints. Even on slower days i am almost guaranteed 5 fish and on more active days that number can quicky double. There is still a mix of coho and chum been caught but the chum bite is becoming more dominant. I have been fishing solely bobber and jig. My number one producing jig is a home made purple and pink jig which i normally tip with prawn but is not 100% necessary since iv caught many without prawn as well. I like to cut my prawns into small bits, cure them with borax, dye them pink and will sometimes play with other additives. Lastly i would like to give a big shout out to all the friendly fisherman i have fished with and and appreciate their contributions to making memorable fishing outings. I did notice some trash being left on the river bank and wanted to remind people to pack out their trash or at least throw it in the provided garbage can. I will be bringing out some trash bags tomorrow if the weather permits. Thanks for the read get out there while the fish are biting!
