Lake Roosevelt proved to be a wonderful host to my guests once again. The lake was almost flat calm the entire day, and the bows were quite eager to bite our offerings. Today we crisscrossed the lake quite a bit until we located productive areas. We started out fishing 6 different lures, but quickly weeded out the slackers. At the end of the day, spinners, apex, and jointed rapala were the winners. All in Orange. All rods were running in the top 10’ of the water column and baited with corn. In addition to the hatchery fish we kept, we also released a dozen beautiful “wild” bows all between 18-21” We had ourselves a wonderful time today.
