Launched at 7 Bays just past 10 and started fishing around 10:30. We were finesse trolling soft plastics which were fairly light weighted. The best color was a sherbet orange w/ a scent gel applied. It was me and my dad each with a 2 pole endorsement so 3 rods out and I often casted the 4th. We caught fish anywhere from 100 to 20 feet from shore and depths from the surface down to as deep as 30 feet.

I want to commend the tribes for another great year of stocking as we have found good numbers of trout from keller all the way up as far as you can go on the Spokane and the average has been above the average of past years. If any of you are going out and finding it slow, you may want to try changing up a few things, like the size of your lure and your speed. Consider going in closer to shore as well as there are some good concentrations of fish in places where sandy banks have some slope with some flats nearby. Look for areas where the banks make a "C" and fish in the curve of it.

We fished between Hawk Creek and the Fort Spokane Bridge. But have found there are fish all throughout the system right now on the bite. We fished from 10:30 to 3. I did some recording but did not take any pictures this trip.

Breakdown: (We already have a freezer with enough fish so today we debarbed and tried for numbers)
All fish were caught and released without using a net: 4 natives (one 22",another 21"), 3 tribal tagged fish, 63 rainbows total, 0 kokes :((

Great conditions on Roosey this year and great rainbow fishing. Enjoy everyone, good luck and don't be afraid to change things up a bit out there if you are finding it slow at times. Observe your surroundings and look for fish raising on the surface.
