Where did those pesky little scaled beasties get off to this time? Launched out of Ft. Spokane and fished from the bridge out to the main river without a bite so we reeled in and headed down to the Sterling Point area where we had done well back on 12/15 but it was slow going this time. We had 6 hits, missed one, lost one and landed 4 of the usual 16-17 " clipped Roosevelt fatties. All 6 hits came in nearly the exact same spot and if you've fished there much you probably know where. It was a cold windy day with lots of moisture. Comfortable in the cabin with the heater on but we couldn't keep the windows from fogging up, you know I'm spoiled. Well it was 4 times as many fish as I caught on the 9th out of Keller so we're headed the right direction and intend to keep on after them.
Notice that when I don't get any Kokanee I am targeting RB. You all know the truth.
