The warm up and refreeze helped to solidify the slush on the area lakes making travel much easier. I decided to break out my Korean gyeonji sticks and target some Rainbows on this selective gear rules lake. I had no problem finding the fish and they were as aggressive as ever. Fish were scattered throughout the water column from the surface down to 30'. I caught most of a small marabou jig but also had a few bites on a static blob fly. Beautiful day of fishing with lots of Chukars calling and even heard a wolf howl in response to a pack of Coyotes that were yipping east of the lake.
