Arrived mid-morning and drilled my first hole. It didn't take long to locate several nice schools of perch in 30' of water. Using an olive gil-getter jig tipped with nightcrawler I quickly got a consistent bite going that didn't stop. Occasionally waves of smaller fish moved thru but if I stuck with it the larger 9-10" fish would reappear. I quickly got my 25 limit in less than 40 minutes. The ice is in great shape with no slush on top but does get a little slick when the sun hits it. Ice was 12-13".
