Launched at 8am and fished until 1:30ish. Went downstream and started with flies and plugs. Hooked up on a plug after about 30mins but was a native so released in the net. Couldn't buy a bite after that, so started changing offerings, and with no success, decided to move further downstream.
Got around to trying an orange Kekeda and that produced a nice 2lb, 3oz fin clipped 'bow. Worked the rest of that shoreline without a bite so turned around and trolled back toward the spot that produced the keeper. I noted a very specific underwater feature at that spot so tried to find it again, downside is the shoreline structure looks the same for a couple miles. Persevered, and after several "I think this was the spot" moments, I trolled over the same unique underwater structure, 50', 100', 150', 200' past and no takedown so I turned boat to open water to start stowing gear. I stepped out of the nice warm cabin and fish on! After short but feisty battle, I netted another decent 2lb clipped bow.
It was slow, but we persevered and had a couple nice 'bows for our efforts. Both came on an orange Kekeda tipped with crawlers. Surface temps were 39.6°, it was a cozy 62° with the heat on inside, and we enjoyed a week day on the water. :-)
