Great job to this great group of guys yesterday. We fished North of Hunters the majority of the day. The Walleye bite was consistent all day. We found all of our Walleye scattered from 80'-130' of water. We used green jigs with plastic, tipped with worm. The bite has been pretty good on the main part of Lake Roosevelt and if anyone is interested in spending a day on the water with us contact us at 509-464-9657. March is all booked and April is booking fast. Good luck And Great Fishing Everyone!

Sure looks like your overall size has diminished over the last 2 years. My experience the last few trips has been that in the 100+ fow areas the fish mainly run (maybe 60%) 9 to 13 inches but in the 35 to 50 fow areas the fish run 60% 14 to 19 inches but there are less fish to catch.

Would you agree?

No I do not think so there size has been smaller. As many days we are on the water you will catch a mix of sizes. Some days you will go out and catch real decent eating size fish and other days you will catch many smaller Walleye to throw back. I have friends that catch much larger females in shallower depths around the net pens and shallow structures. We like to catch fish that are decent eating size and not large females that are the egg layers. I know many Walleye are also taken with nets by the tribes on Lake Roosevelt. They should not be allowed to do so! I have watched them do it and other friends that have watched them do so. You would not believe the amount of Walleye that were taken last fall out of the Hunters area about 5 55gallon drums of fish!
