Another excellent day of walleye fishing on the Spokane Arm. With the forecasted wintery weather hitting us this weekend we decided to take a day off work. JD and I launched out of Porcupine Bay with Glenn in his Lund and headed up the Arm. We started off the cold morning at the same place where we had good luck last Sunday. Drifting the main river channel produced quite a few fish; a lot of dinks were in the mix. By mid day the bite slowed down so we started moving around looking for active fish. We went up to buoy 5 and back down to Porky. Our last stop was a flat in Porky (red barn) that was holding a bunch of nice 17-19 inch males; some were pretty well developed in preparation for spawning.

We caught just over 70 eyes for the day and cleaned 41. Anything green or perch looking worked pretty well. Water temp was 42.7 and visibility is still 5-6 feet.
