We fished the Biggs junction area today on the Columbia river. The Walleye bite was a little hit and miss. We fished for about 4 hours and picked up 6 nice fish. We started pulling crankbaits with no luck. Then switched over to crawler harnesses in black, purple and chartreuse colors. And this seem to be the ticket. Had quite a few drive by bites and caught our 6 fish doing this. We found they were liking the Northwest bait and scent graybills garlic scent. And we trolling down hill in about 26 to 30ft of water. Seems like the bite should only pick up as this month goes on! We have seen and released many big fish over the past week!
