Well I don't know what happened? Fish were there Wednesday and Friday. Same tactics. Dick nite and downrigger. South weather buoy to mid lake. Where'd they all go? My eyes aren't great, but I didn't see a lot of action out there for anyone today. Maybe I just can't see though. Little more breeze maybe. Friday you could see them surfacing. Fish were shallow. I got skunked today! Got off the lake at 11. Think I might run up to Cavanaugh or Keechelus and see if any kokes are biting.

What depth were you running the downriggers? What speed? I never saw many fish at any depth, but just randomly get hits in about 80 feet depth. Only used red/white dick nites. Well, it is fishing. Who knows?

I was at 15 to 35 feet. Switched it up hoping to find the fish. I never marked much either. Was good on Wednesday at the shallower depth, but not Saturday. Friday was slow for me, but at least there were fish. Yeah, I guess that is why they call it fishing. Better than sitting around in the house all day at least. Still fun. Was hoping to catch a cooler full though. Wanted to smoke some fish this weekend. I saw a few guys heading to the north end of the lake. Maybe they did better? Don't know.

I haven’t driven by Keechelus in a few weeks is it still frozen over? I grew up catching kokes up there love that lake. Sometimes we smack em and sometimes they smack us back!

I don't know if it is still frozen or not. Haven't been over the hump in a few weeks and I don't remember even if it was froze then. Sometimers disease I guess. I understand the sometimes you smack them and sometimes the lake smacks you back though. That wind when it comes up. Geez!

We caught 3 quick ones on Friday and then they vanished. Beats the heck out of me.

Your eyes are fine. I was out there for several hours today and didn't get a hit on anything. I was marking plenty of fish shallow and dragging everything in the tackle box through them without a bite all day. I never saw a net out.

I was starting to think it was me. Tuesday I got four cutts in the boat. Yesterday I threw exactly the same things at em and not a wink. Cavanaugh has been steady enough to keep interested.

Glad I'm not alone not knowing where they went!

I fished Saturday morning with a friend....very slow. Got some hits and we each picked up one small Cutt each, but way slower than expected. Maybe that oddball overcast morning we had threw them off.
