The first time out 2020 and it was a beautiful day. The boat and my new electronics worked fine. I think I will like my new Garmin.
I launched at Willow Flats Launch above Chief Joe .
The lot was full of trailers and a couple in the overflow.
Only a couple of boats in the area most went north.
I started by the trees right north of the launch threw some lures trying to catch a bass or two and nothing.
I crossed the River and loaded up the poles with the leaded line, one with a Mack's double whammy and baby wings and put a nice crawler on then the other pole I ran a Macks double D dodger and a double whammy and put power bait and a crawler on and started at the North end of the can line.
It wasn't before long I picked up this dandy beautiful Rainbow.
That was all I got.
I switched over to bottom bouncers for a while trying to pick up a walleye and nothing.
It was a nice day on the water and I didn't get close to anyone.
I did talk to a guy that came in as I was packing up the boat up and he did ok.
