Clear Lake 5-10-20 Mother’s Day
We fished 7am to 10am. It was sunny and bright. The water temp was 63-64. Slight breeze every once in a while. Lots of algae/weeds to mess with the lines. We caught trout 10-30 foot on the downriggers. My son out fished me and he caught the biggest. I told him that was not allowed next year. After all it was Mother’s Day.
When we used up the worms we had, we went to a scent called “Trophy trout” didn’t get to many bites but they sure liked to smell it. More following than I put in the video. Like about 30 minutes’ worth.
It was a much calmer day than yesterday, with a lot less people. Only one water skier. Although as we left there was a pleasure boat launching.
