This report is for the Columbia bellow Bonneville. First time shad fishing. Plenty of people there but wasn’t a problem finding a spot. It took a while to figure it out. We were getting a little nervous thinking a skunking was happening. Fortunately that changed after an hour or so. Figured out the drift and it was game on. My daughter lives in troutdale and she brought her stepson down for some fishing. He had a lot of fun and reeled a few in. We caught a couple of dozen. Great weather, great fishing and great company.
