Went out for Chinook for an evening fish out of Port Eliza Lodge in Esperanza Inlet. Chinook fishing is open in Esperanza inlet, 2 per day hatchery or wild, and coho just opened, also 2 per day hatchery or wild in Area 25. The weather was a bit rough but we hit two nice Chinook 10 minutes from the Lodge at Inner Black rock, using small spoons (wee-g's) in cookies and cream and no bananas patterns. Halibut fishing has also been very good as there is no commercial fishing pressure on them currently.
