Fishing with my son, we launched his drift boat onto Spencer early in the AM. The parking lot was busy as we arrived - I think they were all trout anglers. June 10th was exactly 7 years since I fished Spencer with Mike Carey. Anyway Son Don and I fished the west shoreline from the access all the way to the cove on the north end. The weather was calm - the water flat as a mirror. We had a couple showers but they didn't amount to much. We both caught bass - largemouth and smallmouth - no lunkers but it nice to be out on the water.
