A week late, but took my 8 yr old out fishing for the 1st time. Moved a couple time because the birds were overwellming, hitting lines, perching on rods... finally found a good spot and about 45 min in the new spot, seen a big one jump near bobber, then bobber disappeared. I had to finish bringing bring fish in because she couldn't reel anymore. Turned out to be a 22" rainbow. Can't beat that for your 1st fish
