John and I started fishing about 9am. I quit at 1pm. It was mostly cloudy with a few sunbreaks. I think the water temp was 59. Full pool is at 1207feet and it was at 1205.66.
Shortly after I started, I got sidetracked getting to close to the shore and hooked into a stump losing my Water Wolf camera, dodger and lure. Then when I attached another camera, I forgot to turn it on. So, the only footage I got was mostly at 20 feet down. It seemed almost like the fish wouldn’t go below a certain depth. When I got a fish on the top rod, I would raise the lower one up to 10 feet.
I caught a trout about 9:30. Then we started catching regular. John hooked or caught the most. He would be rerigging one rod to go back out when his other would have a fish…
Most of the fish we got were either 9-10 feet deep or on Johns longlined rod. I don’t think he had any weight on it. 1.3mph was the ideal speed.
We ended with 8 cutthroat trout and 10 kokanee. I forgot to check all for adipose 3 don’t know, 1 unclipped, 6 clipped.
Still have to watch out for logs. I ran into one.
