Went to Alder Lake today instead of Riffe, like I had originally planned. The debris in the lake was thick enough you could have left the boat at home, and just walked across the logs. Eventually they mostly drifted out with the wind.
Marked alot in the deeper end of the water column, so I set a rod deep and also ran one at 15 feet. Neither one produced, except for a lone black crappie that took a line on the way down.
Been a tough start to the season for me this year.
