Fished between 3-5pm in Sportsmans bay. I'm trolling worm rigs at about 2.0 mph. My kicker is awaiting parts so I'm backtrolling with a 225hp. Last night caught 1 14" walleye, a couple nice perch and a 17" rainbow. The rainbow was in deeper water close to the channel. the other fish in 10-13' water. A few weeks ago I fished the evening and boated 9 walleye, 2 smallmouth and a nice crappie. 6 of the walleye were between 16-20". Again I was backtrolling fast. I'm getting the kicker repaired next week, so my fishing should get better. My neighbor says it has been a little slow the last few days. Water temps are in mid 60's now. Alot of fisherman on the lake on Saturday. No pics since I released all but the trout (it swallowed the hook). Friends throwing it on the traeger for dinner. Carp are in the shallows spawning the last few days. Haven't seen them splashing yet today. Please keep the carp you shoot. It get's pretty stinky in a few weeks if you shoot and release.
