I got out for a couple of hours this morning and was able to find a few Kokes and a cut. Went 3 for 5 on Kokanee today. I forgot the net at home, so it was a challenge to get them in the boat. I also picked up a nice cutthroat.

Fished the west side of Mercer Island and found the fish out over deeper water today. I was in the 150' range with 40' - 50' on the wire. The bite was not a hot as previous mornings, and I caught all the fish on different flasher & lure combinations. Corn and Power maggots were the bait of choice with a liberal dose of scent. Trolling speed ranged from 1.2 to 1.6 and as usual, frequent turns produce a lot of the strikes.

Dry brining a batch of Kokanee for the smoker today. Time to enjoy some of the success the big lake has been providing.
