Went down to the lake for a bit of a work break; the bite was super hot and I had trouble keeping both my poles in the water (double pole endorsement). Landed 6 fish and kept 4 that ate the hook. I just kept casting about 20 feet past the dock and would generally get a bit a few minutes after casting.
Bait: Powerbait, garlic sented, rainbow colored, dough
Rig: 1/2 oz weight, swivel, 4 and 8 ft leaders and a single point hook.
Location: East side of the lake, a bit off the side of the dock there (someone was already fishing there).
Time: A little past 2 PM; weather was generally sunny with a bit of cloud cover
