Caught one right off the bat and then nothing for a couple of hours. It didn't look like anyone caught anything either.
Location: Northwest side of the lake, right by the tennis courts where you can just park, get out of your car and immediately start fishing. I was casting out to the right side (towards the dock); I caught the fish on the pole that was casting about 5 feet out from the weeds.
Bait: Rainbow powerbait dough, garlic scented
Rig: 1/2 oz weight, swivel, 2 ft and 4 ft leader and single point hook.
I am still pretty happy about it, I had been meaning to try the spot for a bit since I always saw people there and caught my biggest of the season. (About 15")
