The first 2 days of Flaming Gorge did not disappoint!! It is crazy to see the way the Kokanee have grown over the last 2 months here. The bite right now is the best I’ve ever seen and they are all 19”+ fish. Our best 2 so far were caught today, the biggest going 22” and exactly 4# and the next biggest a FAT 21” that was 3-1/2#. Our 2 best producers have been 1. 5-1/2” Purple Haze Dodger with a Topgun Purple Haze Spinner and 2. 5-1/2” Hammered Gold with Crushed Glow followed by a Clown Hoochie. Hopefully I’ll have more good reports throughout the week.
