Took the family over to Orcas and spent two days trolling the west side. Day one my youngest daughter hooked into about a 5-6lb native chinook which was released from the water. My oldest daughter caught a nice 8 lb hatchery buck that went in the cooler! My son ended up with a 4lb hatchery hen that stayed in the boat. Bite came on at 9am and lasted til about 10:30. Fish were caught at 90ft on the wire in 200ft of water. Fished 11” flashers with cookies/cream spoons with a dash of bloody tuna scent. Day two was slow but my youngest lost a heavy fish that turned on her and ran for the boat spitting the spoon. Kids had a blast and dad had fun running the boat and watching.
