Great day out on the water. Fished the west side just north of the boat launch. Instant action when we got there. Never caught a fish on lake Stevens before, figured I’d give it another shot. Used a 5” senko near docks and were hitting some smaller fish. A lot of little dinks but nothing of any size. Switched it up to a crank bait and action stayed the same. Landed a few perch as well. My brother landed a pretty nice smallmouth out in a little deeper water. Maybe 30 feet out from a dock on a wacky rig baby bass 5” senko. Thinking maybe 2 1/2 pounder. Pretty nice fish. All in all a good day. Gonna hit it up in the morning again and try for more.
