The Kokanee at Alta Lake are making a comeback. There were a bumpy couple years where the fishing was lackluster but it appears with a diversity of age classes in the population things are looking much improved. Fish are 10-13" with the occasional 15"+. I did best with micro shrimps in pink or pink/red tipped with corn and most fishing hanging out at 25' deep. It's been crazy hot here and surface water temps are in the 70's so please don't high grade these fish as they are unlikely to survive catch and release.
