So I had hoped to get the girls out last Wednesday on the boat but work had other plans as they scheduled back to back zoom meetings from 8 to 9:30 that morning! So I took to the mobile floating office out on Lake WA and the fish cooperated as not one bite until the meetings ended and then it was BAM BAM!! 4 fish in less then an hour with one huge cutthroat again that is feasting on the smolts in the lake! Was off the water by 10:30 and just in time as the wind picked up as it has been by mid morning- plus needed to get back to work haha!

This time most fish caught in the 40' range but important to follow the marks as almost everytime I would see a mark and move the line there I would get hit! Not always the rule but worked for me that day- I didn't chase the deeper ones in case they were sockeye so just anything from 20 feet down to about 65 feet. Lure of there liking was 3 kokanee on the rainbow assasin and the cutthroat on a watermelon brads cut plug- all tipped with my corn.

See you on the water!

Thanks Randy! As much as I'd like to be out on the salt chaseing silver like you I am limited for time right now as my restaurants are trying to open back up- so will take what I can and with a boat launch less then 15 minutes from my house not much debate on where to go!

Nice, I admit I have also done a few work Zoom meetings while fishing since COVID! Well done, you sure have the lake WA fishery dialed.

Hi, I’m new to trolling , I’m just getting into fishing again, looks like you launched from Atlantic boat ramp? That’s where I’ve been putting in also. I have a 8 foot jon with a 2.5 yamaha, I’m hoping to catch some Kokanee this Fall, so it’s been fail!
Any advise would be much appreciated!

@augie57 HI Patty, shoot me a PM here or on facebook and I can give you some pointers that may help. Just for starters do you have down riggers or are you using a dropper to get your line down to the fish? They are running deeper now but in the early AM you can get them up higher.
