So I had hoped to get the girls out last Wednesday on the boat but work had other plans as they scheduled back to back zoom meetings from 8 to 9:30 that morning! So I took to the mobile floating office out on Lake WA and the fish cooperated as not one bite until the meetings ended and then it was BAM BAM!! 4 fish in less then an hour with one huge cutthroat again that is feasting on the smolts in the lake! Was off the water by 10:30 and just in time as the wind picked up as it has been by mid morning- plus needed to get back to work haha!
This time most fish caught in the 40' range but important to follow the marks as almost everytime I would see a mark and move the line there I would get hit! Not always the rule but worked for me that day- I didn't chase the deeper ones in case they were sockeye so just anything from 20 feet down to about 65 feet. Lure of there liking was 3 kokanee on the rainbow assasin and the cutthroat on a watermelon brads cut plug- all tipped with my corn.
See you on the water!
