Echo Lake has some great potential if you are willing to work for it! Having to navigate through the people at the lake to enjoy the water and not fish I ended up having to set up my 9ft inflatable about 2ft away from someone sitting in the shade next to the willow tree reading, it got a bit awkward once i turn on the electric pump to inflate my raft :) I was expecting her to give me dagger eyes or something but she was cool. It was another beautiful sunny day to be on the lake fishing, for it to be afternoon the fish were fairly active (another day I thought I would limit out), I has a lot of hook ups but only landed 3 of them, damn trout are so acrobatic,strong, and full of energy! I fished for a few hours and decided to get off the lake before it got any busier, it would have been nice to try to catch those last two trout, maybe next time!
