My son and I started fishing about 8am and finished around 11am. The water temperature was 68 degrees. It was a chilly morning but the sun was out to warm things up.
We fished 8-26 feet on downrigger dipping down to 35 feet when we saw marks on the fish finder. The ones at 35 feet never bit and it was black on the camera. 8-13 feet on the wire did get the bites.I used corn. The crappie liked it flavored with tuna but not the trout/kokanee. My son uses a part of a nightcrawler with his corn.
He caught his first catfish and 3 crappie. One crappie he let go. I got a crappie and a trout.
The pool has been dropping and was at 1,197.85 feet Aug. 30, 2020.
