9/8/2020 3:41:52 PMGood to see 'ol Cottonwood & Talapus again. Used to pack my raft into both quite often in the early 80's. Fishing was good but not great @ Cottonwood for very nice sized brookies, but it started to fade the last time I was there ('87). Talapus used to be overrun with brook trout which provided great fishing for small, sometimes stunted fish. The massive numbers were gone by the late '80's & I remember catching only 1 brookie and 1 brown trout my last time there ('89). Great memories - thanx for taking me back!
