Took the ferry over to Whidbey Island to fish Bush Point one last time before the local rivers opened up for salmon fishing. Got into the water around 6:45 because the earliest ferry running on the weekend from Mukilteo was 6 AM. Later than I would like as most of my bites there lately have been between 6-7 AM. But regardless, when I started fishing there were so many fish jumping! Like one fish every few minutes or so, and all of them were BIG. I've been noticing a lot of big fish in the other reports I've seen, so maybe that's a trend this year so far. Been seeing and catching a lot of wilds too, which is weird, usually they're a later run.
Anyways, had a blast and made a really fun video of the experience! Would love it if you would check it out and let me know what you think :) Cheers.
