Thinking Copalis beach is Grays Harbor, but anyway.. Copalis Beach.
1st opening day of 2020 razor digs. I had read the 2019 estimation was 16 million razors, which they said was a record year... then this 2020 season I heard 24 million.

Anyway, clams are shall we say, PLENTIFUL. I went into the Copalis Beach area. 0615 low tide. I got there 0715. 30 min dig. I didn’t bring my clam gum, was using clam shovel. Clams are quite large it seems, with very few small clams. Remember, it’s ‘Must keep your 1st 15 clams dug’.
Major blister breakage at clam #10. Persevered through to # 15.
Back tomorrow for surf perch and crab. Razors are super easy to clean/process. Large quantity of meat for chowder, etc.
