I took my new float tube to Fazon and hit the lake before work. On the water just before sunrise (about 645a). Went from the launch around the west side of the lake. Casting a white spinner bait with small tail. After a few gorgeous pictures and about 20 casts I hooked two nice bass within a couple casts of each other. Both right around 3 pounds. I measured one at 16.5” long. Both were caught near shore in the pads. I hooked a third one of similar size in the same area but it got away. Went another couple hundred feet around the west side but didn’t get another bit. Then I went back in and was loaded in the truck by 815a. Great morning!
