Went to eight mile lake before heading back down to little Eightmile. Mostly brook trout with a few cutthroat trout mixed in, water was extremely low and shore is muddy making handling and/or releasing fish extremely challenging. They’ll enthusiastically take spoons and spinners but avoid using large treble hook or barbed hooks as most of the fish aren’t very large and delicate, fly fishing will probably also work well. Fishing becomes very slow after the sun comes up
