We finished up our salmon season fishing in the Columbia Gorge for coho salmon. Overall, the fishing was a bit tougher than I expected. There were a lot of fish in the area, but no one was really catching anything. I felt fortunate as we were able to get 6 fish on Saturday on 4 on Sunday. We trolled prawn spinners near bottom with 360 flashers. The plug bite was pretty slow overall and few guys did decent twitching jigs. As the season progresses, the fish will move up into local tributaries and the mainstem Columbia will get pretty slow. We are switching gears and will start our guided pheasant hunts now through February! Give us a call to join the fun! 509-492-8852.
