Launched out of Hunters. Went north a few miles and fished along the eastern shore. Pulled Kekeda flies (Orange, Perch) on lead line, long lined various plugs (flicker shad, rapalas, wiggle warts), and also fished various Old Goat OG1's 2.44's. I have read a lot about the success that people have been having with the old goat's and I have since bought more than my wife would approve of. Needless to say today was the day of the old goat OG1 2.44" orange perch pattern with a very small piece of worm for scent. Started with one rod and ended up with 2 pulling that same pattern on 3 colors of lead with 50' of 10lb flouro leader. As I said before I pulled various other things and to end the day I had zero bites on all other lures and ended up catching and keeping 4, losing another 3, 2 of which were studs right at the boat, and releasing one wild on that orange perch pattern. Glad to have a boat. I was getting tired of getting skunked from the shore. Looking forward to the winter.
