Ferry county local here.....
Fished the state park yesterday....5.5" to 6"of ice at south end....in between 35-40 ft water. Landed probably 20-30 perch in 5 hours and a handful of trout. Perch bite consistent with many in the 10" range and a few nice rainbows to 15".
Perch seem to like glow and bright yellow.....a lot.
Left my phone at home on charger...sorry no pics:-(
Ice north of Wiseman Island including rest of north end of lake is 4" to 3" and is likely unsafe by today with warm temps and rain.
Saw lots of weekenders and people in their vacation homes out prepping North end ice for New Years festivities.....very sketchy at this point going out on certain areas especially close to shore.
Cold temps down the road may make whole lake accessible by Mid-January......
Tight lines!!
